Atypikoo is, above all, the story of a project designed to celebrate neurodiversity. In 2019, David Boudjenah discovered he was a gifted individual, a realization that inspired him to create a space dedicated to atypical people. The goal? To offer a place where they can finally be themselves and connect with those who understand their unique way of being.
Atypikoo stands out with its unique approach, shining a light on the richness of atypical personalities. Here, there are no superficial profiles—you’ll find a multitude of authentic and inspiring individuals. Whether you’re highly sensitive (HSP), gifted (HPI), on the autism spectrum (ASD), ADHD, or simply feel different, Atypikoo offers a space where diversity becomes the norm.
Since 2021, more than 3,000 events have been organized, bringing together over 10,000 participants. From picnics to karaoke nights, book clubs, and hikes, these moments create opportunities for meaningful connections. For those who prefer staying behind a screen, forums and online discussions offer enriching exchanges as well.
“I’m so grateful that a platform like Atypikoo exists. It’s a breath of fresh air to talk to people without pressure, without everything being focused on physical appearance like on other dating sites. I’ve had meaningful conversations and made enriching connections that made me feel less alone and more understood.”

You can choose to make friendly, professional, or romantic connections. I don’t feel overwhelmed by unwanted attention like on other apps.”
– Adeline
Atypikoo also offers an online magazine with over 200 articles covering a range of topics: neurodivergence, hypersensitivity, romantic relationships, and personal development. These resources help individuals deepen their self-understanding and find tools to embrace their uniqueness fully.
In addition, scientific self-assessment tests are available to help users explore their atypical traits. For those who want to go further, a network of 300 specialized professionals is available to provide personalized support.
At Atypikoo, we’ve chosen not to entrust your experience to algorithms or artificial intelligence. You are free to explore all member profiles and connect with those who resonate with you.
We believe in a transparent and respectful model:
We’re confident that the quality of our services speaks for itself, naturally encouraging members to subscribe without manipulative tactics.
Currently, most of our members are based in French-speaking countries, including France, Belgium, Switzerland, and Canada. However, we aim to expand into English-speaking countries by 2026, focusing on the UK and the United States, where the demand for neurodivergent-friendly platforms is growing rapidly. With an approach centered on kindness and diversity, we hope to broaden our community across borders.
Atypikoo is, above all, a space where you can truly be yourself. Whether you’re looking to make new connections, participate in events, or simply find comfort in a community that understands you, you’re in the right place.
