The questionnaire was built from cognitive dimensions studied in the scientific literature: reasoning, working memory, visuospatial processing, learning and cognitive flexibility.
The structure of the questions, the scoring rules, the guidance criteria and the limits of the pre-assessment are documented and versioned.
The distinction between the domains explored draws in particular on the Cattell-Horn-Carroll model of cognitive abilities and on the separate domains of the Wechsler scales. Working memory, cognitive flexibility and transfer of learning are also documented by the work of Baddeley, Diamond, Barnett and Ceci.
These references guide the design of the questionnaire. They do not mean that the pre-assessment is an IQ test or an already validated psychometric instrument.
Answers are compared according to the conclusion of a professional assessment: giftedness identified, not identified, or inconclusive assessment. These data make it possible to evaluate the dimensions and the guidance offered.
The results are based on how you describe your own functioning.
They do not measure your IQ and do not determine whether you are gifted.
They do not replace an assessment carried out by a psychologist.
The pre-assessment draws on cognitive dimensions studied in the scientific literature and on documented scoring rules. It offers a structured reading of your answers and personalized guidance, but it remains a self-report questionnaire: it does not measure your IQ and is not a substitute for a psychometric assessment carried out by a psychologist.
